Congrats! Allow me to share my thoughts…
1) It’s a very low competition keyword.
2) Using Google’s keyword tool, you’ll find that the phrase receives virtually zero searches – Analytics will confirm this in due time.
3) Blog post tend to get a “boost” in Google’s search results and in most cases, will subsequently fall off the search results.
Hi Larry, Thanks for your thoughts! You are right, these long tail may not have enough data to shown in Google keyword tool, however if your are in the niche, you will probably search like this. And is targeted keyword that may convert to sales. This is also why client asking for it.
Lets see how long this result will last there
Yes. Long tail keywords and definitely low-hanging fruits! How much are those ink? For professional printing, right?
I just paid SGD111 for 5 ink cartridges for my cheapo Canon printer. So I think you original HP 5000 ink must cost a bomb!
SAM*INK is for large-format printer. I not sure about the price, I can find out for u
Congrats on getting ranked. I guess you were so overwhelmed with the results that it intrigued you to write a blog post about it. Larry is pretty much right about the facts he brought up, the keyword competition and all.
Anyway there is another person who met Sam Leong too…
www. seostudiosix.com/aftermarket-ink-hp-5000-–-the-seo-challenge/
but you definitely did a better job than him.
Cheers
Thanks Syed for Sharing, for sure we are better, is because our content is original. I can’t believe this unethical SEO company copied exactly our web content
We cant do much about this Jack as there are many of them out there who just simply copy content and still manage to rank on page 1 for the relevant keyword.
On another note i do not agree with larry that your post will not stay at the top for a longer period of time. But on the other hand if he would have said the same for www. seostudiosix.com/aftermarket-ink-hp-5000-–-the-seo-challenge.
It would have definitely make sense as it is copied content.
Keep up the good work Jack.
Cheers
Yes, at least our post still ranked no.1 there until today.
Stumbled over this interesting conversation…
i have alot of respect for Larry, but i think for this page,.. u’ll gonna dominate for quite a LONG while locally, and possibly even globally! just because there’s hardly any competition, and you have 50 links pointing to this page! I’m surprised at the blatant copy/paste, i was under the impression that’s perhaps one of your other ‘division’ to occupy G serps…. anyway, though they are a design company, the site’s designed by a US company.. if so,..probably good idea not to put in their full url and send them link juice for nothing.
one final thought, 1 option is to put your client’s url on this page and charge him for any referral traffic!
all the best.
Hi Jack, impressive site and work you have there. We are in the same industry and i must say you are setting new standards in our industry. Well done.
Thanks for all the comments, I have removed their link. Just do a check, our result still ranked no.1 on Google.
